Ulland Brothers, Inc. is a Civil/Highway-Heavy, aggregate, and site development contractor with offices in Carlton, Virginia and Albert Lea, MN. Ulland Brothers has operated in the construction industry for over 100 years. Ulland Brothers is looking for a Parts Runner to work full time from approximately mid-April to early December or more in Northern Minnesota. This position is based out of our maintenance facility in Virginia, MN. 

Duties and responsibilities:

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Deliver various types of power construction equipment, parts and supplies to jobsites throughout northern Minnesota.

ESSENTIAL ACTIVITIES: This position requires driving vehicles in a safe manner. It is a requirement to follow instructions and meet set standards and to judge distances accurately. This is inside and outside work in all types of environments, conditions, weather, and seasons. Appropriate personal safety equipment is supplied. This is medium work requiring moderate lifting, climbing, and sitting. Crouching, or stooping and bending, full use of hand, arms, and legs and eye-hand coordination is essential. Reaching and feeling, overhead lifting (to 60 lbs.), and repetitive motions are required: Talking and hearing; good eyesight (either naturally or with correction); and color discrimination are essential to satisfactory performance. Regular and timely attendance is essential, and hours must conform to the company's operating hours.

Qualifications:

Positive attitude CDL with current DOT medical card Applicants must have a clean driving record Ability to secure a wide variety of loads to a truck/trailer Preferred ability to operate small equipment (forklift, skid steer, mini excavator, etc.) Willingness and ability to follow OSHA and MSHA standards Willingness to help with other duties in and around a heavy equipment maintenance facility Overtime required Regular and timely attendance is essential including early morning starts
