Parts Specialist
Location: Onsite, Colton, CA
What will you do?
The Parts Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the parts inventory for a busy diesel shop. This includes developing and maintaining an accurate inventory database, sourcing and purchasing parts from suppliers, and implementing efficient stocking and distribution systems.
The Parts Specialist will coordinate with mechanics and technicians to accurately forecast parts requirements and inspect incoming parts for quality. Additionally, they will monitor inventory levels, handle all parts-related documentation, and act as a point of contact for internal teams, external vendors, and clients. Conducting regular audits of the parts inventory to identify discrepancies and implementing corrective actions will also be a key responsibility.
What do you need?
Proven experience as a Parts Specialist or a similar role in a diesel shop or automotive industry
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, parts, and components
Proficient computer skills, including experience with parts management software and inventory databases
Familiarity with parts procurement, sourcing, and negotiation processes
Ability to accurately forecast parts requirements, identify issues, and implement corrective actions

Compensation: This position pays an hourly rate of $25.00 - $30.00.
Profit sharing is available to eligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on the profitability of the company.
