Our Cardonald site is looking for a Supervisor to oversee their Parts Department!

 

We are looking for someone who can manage the day to day running of the Parts Department in an effective and profitable manner by maximising sales, profit and service. You will motivate and manage the team and be a key team member within the Dealership.

 

Monday to Friday 0800hrs to 1600hrs

Occasional Saturday to cover team members

Your responsibilities will include

 

Deal with all customer requests and queries promptly and effectively, includes both front and back counter customers Take responsibility for sales activities and any promotions or marketing activities across the Volvo brand To encourage a pro-active selling environment and support all staff in this area, hitting relevant sales, service and revenue targets Ensure that the Team achieve high standards of professionalism by building strong relationships with both customers and colleagues across the Dealership. Manage and maintain all back-office functions and systems including general stock control, DSP locations, obsolescence and any other key function as defined are followed in conjunction with the Parts Manager. To succeed in this role you will need a strong understanding of a parts Department with experience and understanding of a fast paced parts department. You will be able to understand and interpret the operational budget for Parts Department and Parts Inventory and Sales and be a string and effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbally.
