MUST BE LOCATED IN/NEAR VERNAL     ROLE STATEMENT: The Parts Technician will be a member of the Repair and Maintenance Department responsible for the organization of the parts in the parts room. Reporting to the Parts Maintenance Manager, the Parts Clerk will focus on proper paperwork, supply and maintenance of parts.   SCHEDULE: Five (5) days on, Two (2) days off Schedule – 6am to 6pm and 6pm-6am overnight Open to local candidates only   SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provide courteous and professional counter service to all internal and external customers Effectively communicate with Maintenance management regarding a continuous supply and maintenance of required parts Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures to achieve safety objectives Organize and maintain the inventory areas Shipping and receiving Maintain vendor catalogue and pricing library Maintain purchase and issuing records   KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES: An energetic, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is deadline driven Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with all levels of the organization Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with a high attention to detail Team player with the ability to conduct work with professionalism Demonstrated high quality work as a parts technician Thorough knowledge of parts room related processes Ability to generate reports with a high attention to detail Role requires lifting (up to 50 lbs) as well as frequent bending, twisting, and standing Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and is essential   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1+ years of related experience in a warehouse/parts room environment International shipping/receiving experience preferred Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory Driving Record for last 3 years
