Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Survey Party/Crew Chief for our Jupiter office. You will manage a survey crew in various field conditions and projects, primarily focusing on FDOT Projects. These projects include boundary, topographic, ALTA, Laser Scanning, Geodetic Leveling, Subdivisions, and As-built surveys. You will typically work in a 3-person crew (Rodman, Instrument Operator, and Party Chief), but some projects may require a 4-person crew. Be prepared to work in the Florida heat and various challenging conditions, such as the Everglades and roadway corridor projects.
Qualifications:
Must have experience as a Survey Party ChiefMust have FDOT experienceMust be proficient in the use of total stations, data collection devices, GPS equipment, and digital/automatic levelsExperience with the operation of FDOT EFB, GPS, and Leica instruments is a plus.Must be positive and team-oriented with the willingness and desire to work as part of a teamMust have strong leadership and management skills.Must be willing to travel for out-of-town projects (hotel and per diem provided). Travel is usually during the week for 2-4 nights and once or twice/month.Employer Value:
