Job Title: Party Chief
Job Description

An engineering and land surveying company seeks an experienced Party Chief with at least 5 years of surveying experience to support numerous projects throughout Central and Eastern Washington as well as Northern Idaho. The projects include surveying for highways, airports, residential roadways, and a variety of other projects, primarily located in Spokane and Pasco.

ResponsibilitiesConduct land surveys for highways, airports, residential roadways, and other projects.Perform construction staking and topographic mapping.Utilize GPS, total station, and Trimble GPS equipment for surveying tasks.Carry out ALTA surveys and topographic surveys.Manage and run a single-person survey crew.Ensure accuracy and precision in all surveying tasks and deliverables.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of land survey experience.Proficiency in construction staking.Experience with topographic mapping and surveying.Skilled in using GPS, total station, and Trimble GPS equipment.Ability to conduct ALTA surveys.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience running a single-person crew.Familiarity with various project types including healthcare, dam infrastructure, bridges, and transit.Work Environment

The work is primarily on-site in either Spokane or Pasco, with projects extending across the Oregon border and into Northern Idaho. The company office is located in Pasco and consists of approximately 30 employees. Most of the work is long-term and involves large projects, often prevailing wage, meaning higher hourly rates. Candidates can reside in Moses Lake, Wenatchee, Spokane, Tri-Cities, Lewiston, Post Falls, Coeur d'Alene, or Clarkson.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
