Role name and description

Tax Analyst – The primary role of a Tax analyst is to analyse/prepare tax returns, social security, 30% ruling applications and develop a collaborative relationship with EY colleagues.

Your key responsibilities

Learn and get trained on the Netherlands tax law, social security and 30% ruling concepts. Analyse client data to determine the type of return to be prepared. Review tax forms and determine the tax treatment. Review and Understand client specifications. Prepare the return using a tax software. Self-review before delivering the return to the next level for review. Prepare various types of tax calculations in addition to tax returns. Prepare social security and 30%ruling applications. Handle a population of assignees. Email communications. Respond to inquiries from in country teams, seniors, managers regarding delivery of work. Deliver high quality timely work. Maintain proper documentation/checklists of work delivered. Develop client service and engagement skills. Assist Seniors and Managers on special projects, as requested. Establish a positive working relationship with teams.

 

Adequate training will be provided to acquaint the analyst with the necessary skills to start working on the Netherlands tax returns, social security and 30% applications. Analysts will continue to learn on-the-job, thereby sharpening their knowledge.

Good communication skills – written and verbal, Attention to detail, Ability to multi-task, Good team player, Proficient in Microsoft tools – Word/PowerPoint/Excel, Problem identification and solving skills.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

Graduate or Postgraduate (preferred) Degree

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

Good working knowledge of MS office, Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent Written and oral communications skills in business English
