Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is hiring a full-time Pastry Cook to join our team at Rowland's Bar and Grill in New York, New York. As a Pastry Cook, you will prepare the bakery & pastry products at Rowland's Bar and Grill and ensure all items are served in a timely manner to the highest freshness and quality.

$18.00 - $24.00 / hour

Responsibilities Follow recipes portion sizes and to a quality standards Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked, and utilize kitchen equipment to prepare food items such as knives, slicers, pots, steamers, and ovensEnsures proper baking temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelinesQualifications 1 year experience as a pastry cook or similar role requiredBasic math skills with the ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detailAbility to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directionsCapacity to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to remain standing for the entire length of shift while also walking, bending, reaching, and performing other repetitive motionsShift Details
