**Responsibilities**
The Division of Anatomic Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking an Academic Pathologist with expertise in Autopsy, Forensics, Informatics, and Molecular Genetics pathology to join our practice. This position offers numerous opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration as well as personal career advancement. The ideal candidate is an academically productive pathologist with excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to multidisciplinary patient care and an interest in advancing these fields of pathology through original scholarship.
Mayo Clinic is renowned for its team-based approach to complex and unusual cases across a variety of specialties. The respective sections at Mayo Rochester are staffed by experts with interests that cover the spectrum of these pathology specialties. We work closely with additional pathologists across other Mayo Clinic campuses, collaborating in a multidisciplinary fashion with world-renowned experts in related fields such as clinical medicine, surgery, oncology, radiology, and transplantation. Our Anatomic Pathology practice is multispecialty-based and highly complex, encompassing a high-volume consultative practice as well as cases from patients seen at the Mayo Clinic.
This position carries an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, with rank commensurate with experience.
**Qualifications**
Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with subspecialties in Forensic Pathology and Clinical Informatics, is required. Completion of a Forensic Pathology fellowship is mandatory, and at least two years of post-fellowship experience is preferred. Board eligibility in Molecular Genetics is also preferred.
