Manages the work activities of the gross surgical cutting room, frozen section room, and tissue procurement activities which includes oversight of residents, students, Anatomic Pathology Assistants, pathology fellows and other involved in accessioning, and processing specimens, slides, and tissue for procurement. Assist the pathologist in all associated gross Anatomic Pathology dissection activities and in performing autopsies. MS - Masters of Science in Health Science or Pathology Assistant required. 1 year of experience in a health care environment with laboratory, autopsy or surgical involvement preferred. 1 year of experience working as a Pathologists' Assistant preferred. Pathology Assistant License upon hire required.
