Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist
\nThe Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist in Dallas, Texas to assist with a growing demand for services in the area. Fellowship training in a surgical subspecialty is preferred.
\nThe successful candidate must have an MD degree (or MD equivalent), a valid Texas medical license (or qualifications to obtain one at the time of appointment) and be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology. Applicant’s materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission. Applicants with expertise in a surgical subspecialty of gastrointestinal pathology or gynecologic pathology will be preferred. Applicants with other subspecialist training and experience will also be considered. Responsibilities will include practicing general anatomic pathology primarily in our outpatient laboratory, but candidates who can also cover general inpatient hospital anatomic pathology will also be considered.
\nCandidates with strong interpersonal skills are preferred. Salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and training.

\n\nJoin an existing team of 8 pathologists in this region\nThe expected work schedule is PRN but will be Monday- Friday without evening or weekend call. \nIdeal start date is fall/winter 2024\n\nThe Baylor Scott and White Pathology North Texas region is responsible for all Surgical Pathology performed at Baylor Scott and White Irving, Baylor Scott and White Lake Pointe, Baylor Scott and White Centennial and our outpatient laboratory in Dallas. The Baylor Scott and White Pathology practice has pathologists in North and Central Texas locations with more than 45 Pathologists and PhDs who oversee operations at 15 Hospitals.
