such Windham Hospital outpatient departments such as Ambulatory Care Unit Cardiac Diagnostic Center Diabetes Education Diagnostic Imaging Radiology One Day Surgery Pain Management Pulmonary Laboratory Womenrsquos Health Services and the Wound Care CenterPosition SummaryRegistersAdmit patients Obtains validates and inputs patient demographics and financial information Obtains co pays and deductiblesObtain insurance authorization for inpatientoutpatient visits andor proceduresVerifies insurance payer information and eligibility benefits Provides assistance with financial applicationsAbility to handle and close out cash transactions for bank depositObtains accurate information and signatures on releasesforms ScanningPrioritizes patient flow Constant interaction with patients families payers and clinical staff in all areas of the Hospital including outpatient clinicsHospital Operator coverage Work various reports as assignedAttention to detail multi tasking strong
