Job Title: Patient Access Coordinator
Job Description
As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will work closely with 2-3 different EMR systems to manage patient check-ins and check-outs, verify date of birth and insurance, collect payments, create appointments, and contact patients for rescheduling or 'no-shows'. You will also be responsible for sending out dictated letters from doctors to patients via email.
Responsibilities
+ Work with 2-3 different EMR systems.
+ Check in and check out patients.
+ Verify date of birth and insurance.
+ Collect payments (credit card/check).
+ Create appointments for patients checking out.
+ Contact patients for 'no-shows' or rescheduling appointments.
+ Send out dictated letters from doctors via email to patients.
Qualifications
+ 6+ months of medical office experience (medical receptionist, front desk medical assistant, etc.)
+ High level of customer service skills.
+ Experience working in an environment with 60+ patients per day.
+ Bilingual preferred
+ Proficiency in computer skills.
+ Data entry and front desk experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00
