Position Purpose
Completes patient registrations/pre-registration processes following department procedures. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.
What you will do
Perform complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions
Verify insurance requirements
Obtain and understand insurance benefits
Ensure that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are
Collect non-covered fees
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum High school or equivalent
One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances
Position Highlights and Benefits
Full time 40 hours rotating ALL SHIFTS-- shift and weekend differentials will apply
