This role requires the adaptability to work in multiple capacities to ensure efficient operations for the clinics, mobile unit, community programs and school-based programs. Responsibilities Provide preparation, set-up, and support for dental programs and events, encompassing patient registration, preparation, and event logistics.Prepare and assemble supplies and documents required for dental events, maintain an inventory of dental resources, and ensure timely submission of requests for additional supplies.Greet patients/participants upon arrival, coordinate patient registration, and ensure proper integration of all event/visit documents into the appropriate computer program.Maintain an active, reliable presence at health fairs and other community venues, furnishing accurate information for community members seeking dental services within HCPH programs.Conduct follow-up calls and communication with patients/participants and prospective individuals.Answer telephone inquiries, screen calls to determine the nature and urgency of inquiries, refer calls as appropriate, and schedule appointments with dental clinical staff. Instruct patients as needed regarding further resources, confirm scheduled appointments, and update appointment status in Dentrix electronic records.Prepare and utilize reports to ensure accuracy, support proper records documentation, and document patient and community encounters. Additionally, perform patient eligibility screening and verify insurance eligibility.Provide age-specific dental education to patients and participants.
