Patient Access Representative - Part-Time - Friday & Saturday Nights - ACH/ACRH
Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, KS and Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, KS is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our team. The Patient Access Representative will conduct professional patient interviews, obtaining demographic, financial, and biographical information. This position is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence.

Shift Details: 

Part-Time – 24 hours per weekNightsFriday 7:00pm - 7:00 am @ Anderson County HospitalSaturday 7:00 pm - 7:00 am @ Allen County Regional Hospital

The Work:

Understands insurance terminologyObtains information to appropriately bill payorsVerifies patient insurance eligibilityConfirms benefits eligibilityGather statistical information in compliance with federal and state regulationsCompletes payment transactions by using proper negotiating techniques to professional collect money owed by our Patients and GuarantorsMakes referrals to appropriate financial resources, such as payment plans and lines of creditAble to answer basic registration questions with minimal support
