**Join Our Team as a Full-Time Patient Access Specialist I!**
Are you passionate about making a difference in patients' lives? We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Patient Access Specialist I to join our dynamic Hematology/Oncology/BMT Unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Verify and enter patient demographic information accurately.
+ Schedule appointments in line with business requirements.
+ Answer calls and follow telephone etiquette standards.
+ Handle overflow call lists and Audiocare reports.
+ Monitor patient waitlist and manage new patient packets.
+ Assist with patient inquiries such as prescriptions, insurance, and physician information.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ 1 year of experience in a medical office, customer service, inbound call center, or healthcare setting preferred.
+ Associate's degree and 6 months of experience in a relevant setting preferred.
+ Experience with Epic system preferred.
**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
+ Clearances with renewal:
+ Act 31, 33, 34, 73
