At FutureCare our Patient Account Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring all necessary requirements are met so that the facility will be paid for services rendered. This position is an Accounts Receivable/Patient Accounts position with a variety of duties and responsibilities related to the day-to-day review, input, processing, and coordination of billing and receivable information between the facility and the Corporate Office.

Responsibilities Perform verification of medical insurancesInput, review, and frequent maintenance of admissions dataConduct daily census reporting Complete monthly AR reviews  and communicate outstanding balances with residents/RP/POA as requiredPrepare and issue collection letters, including follow-up calls as neededMaintain resident funds accounts in accordance with State Comar regulationsMaintain resident information confidential by staying HIPPA compliantEnsure timely/accurate completion and submission of all State Medicaid applications

 

Qualifications High school diploma preferred with evidence of college courses or in accountingExperience Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Previous experience supporting financial teams in a long-term healthcare facility a plusInitiative and proactive; willing to take on new and challenging assignmentsAbility to multi-task and support multiple critical functions in a changing and growing environmentStrong observation skills and keen attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errorsExcellent critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems using logic and reasoningAbility to communicate and collaborate with other accounting team members, departments, and management Interested in this opportunity?
