As the Financial Coordinator you are the face of the office for two of the most stressful aspects of healthcare for most patients, coming to an office for the very first time and handling the fees associated with the care they so desperately need throughout their relationship with our office. But it doesn't have to be that way, and that's what you are going to show them! By pre-framing every aspect of their experience efficiently yet thoroughly they will see why we work so hard to deliver the level of care we believe should be the new standard. Our standard of care! ...
Responsibilities:
What does this look like overall?
Use a WOW welcome to greet all patients by name, new and established. Answer incoming calls with a smile and ready to help those in need. Review recommendations from the Doctor and the fees associated with patients getting what they deserve-the best results in the shortest amount of time! Always talking chiropractic and in office promotions, asking for reviews/testimonials, celebrating patients wins by getting other staff/patients involved as appropriate. You manage the first impression of new patients into the life changing experience we plan to provide for them ensuring all paperwork processing and payments are smooth and seamless. You cherish the opportunity to nurture established patients through their experience with us through executing your job with confidence and passion and are excited to cross train and grow within the practice.
This position can be exceptionally diverse, exciting and rewarding as it helps create a realistic path forward from where patients are when they find us to where they want to be, as we work to make the ever increasing costs of healthcare affordable. This almost always involves chiropractic but may also include many other services as we are always striving to be the most efficient and effective resource for those that need us.
This position requires someone who is an excellent communicator, able to pivot and make it look easy, and with a keen eye for details. If you are looking for a routine position this is not for you. The tasks are laid out clearly but as with most healthcare positions the day to day is dynamic and we are not your typical healthcare office. We love nothing more than when friends see friends while getting care and we encourage cross talk and banter between staff and patients alike.
