Under the direction of the Director of APEX of St Peters, with minimal supervision, the Patient Account Representative, is able to work within the industry standard for DME days in A/R. Collects all information needed to bill a claim.  Completes electronic and manual billing, working denials and accounts receivable. I s knowledgeable of the different insurance carriers and the regulations and coverage 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Previous medical billing experience. Eperience in DME/Home 02 specific billing perferred. 

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED preferred. Two years or more of higher education preferred.
