The Patient Account Representative will respond to patient inquiries, including verification of insurance, payment questions and questions relating to patient accounts.
This is a full-time opportunity, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (subject to change). Primary home site for this position is at our Corporate Campus in Woodbury, MN. Possible work from home three days a week after completion of in-office training.
Answer incoming payment calls and take patients payments, setup payment arrangements, answer a variety of questions, and connect patients with Reimbursement Specialist when necessary for assistance. Provide excellent customer service as it relates to incoming calls from patients regarding account billing. Must be able to comprehend patient statements and explain information related to insurance payments, explanation of benefits and conveyance of patient payments on accounts. Run patient credit cards and check payments through Secure Bill Pay. Performs other duties as assigned.Summit's hiring range for this position is $19.26 to $24.08 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
