Position Overview:
An insurance biller and accounts receivables professional is responsible for processing insurance claims, verifying policy information, and ensuring accurate billing. They track payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and communicate with insurance companies and clients to resolve billing discrepancies. Additionally, they may handle accounts receivable, reconcile financial records, and generate reports for management. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of insurance procedures, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as Email experienceKnowledge of working aging, researching unpaid claims and appeal submissions to insurance.The ability to answer all patient or telephone inquiries pertaining to claims billed with courtesy and thoroughness.Ability to perform billing functions via Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Raintree experience preferred, but not necessary.Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Demonstrate ability to address difficult situations and resolve conflictsExperience with Medicare, Workers’ Compensation Insurance, Commercial and Medicaid insurances.
Qualifications:
