We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Financial Counselor to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in alleviating the financial stress associated with healthcare. Your mission is to create a welcoming and informative experience that empowers patients to understand their financial options and encourages them to pursue the care they need. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with a WOW welcome, providing a positive first impression.
- Answer incoming calls and support the scheduling team, prioritizing new patient inquiries.
- Review treatment recommendations and associated fees with patients, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Prepare patient documentation based on doctor recommendations.
- Maintain a comprehensive log of new patients and ensure they receive necessary follow-ups.
- Follow up with patients who missed appointments and nurture their journey toward care.
- Handle financial inquiries with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with the team to promote in-office services and encourage patient engagement.
- Participate in weekly meetings to report on accounts receivable and suggest improvements.
- Facilitate in-office workshops and contribute to a vibrant team culture.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
- Experience in a healthcare or financial counseling role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or healthcare is a plus.
- Ability to explain complex financial information in an understandable manner.
- Experience with customer service or patient interactions.
- Comfortable with technology and digital communication platforms.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
