Job Description

Assists and collaborates in the implementation and delivery of activities to help meet the developmental and social needs of patients and families.

Experience

Experience in a group setting with a child

Bachelor’s degreeComputer skillsExperience working in a clinical setting

Education

Associates degree in Child Development or related field

Certification Summary

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment

Job Responsibilities

Plans and implements high-quality, comprehensive individual and group activities.Collaborates with Foundation, Marketing, and Public Relations in fundraising events and donor relations/activities.Promotes participation in hospital-wide and unit-based special events.Serves as liaison for patient needs between Child Life Specialists and other staff as needed.Provides computer and audio-visual activities and programming.
