the provisionof care to patients requiring a period of Observation before a medical decisioncan be made regarding patient admission vs discharge All rooms are equippedwith new state of the art technology to support even the most acute ofpatientsPosition SummaryUnder the direction of a Registered Nurse or Unit Manager the Patient Administrative Associate performs delegated functions as a member of a patient care team by providing administrative support and communicating with members of the health care team patients and families This role contributes to the successful operation of the work area and functions in accordance with all existing regulatory and hospital standards policies and procedures Reports to Manager Patient UnitFacilitates communications for the work area by providing reception information and assistance to customers responding to requests for information regarding patient condition coordinating and communicating information promptly clearly and
