Location: 19500 W. Interstate 10, Building #2, Floor 3, San Antonio, TX
Primary Responsibilities:
Daily scheduling of all physician orders, new referrals, and schedules with appropriate field clinicians Reports new or pertinent patient information to field clinicians Schedules per physician order all visits/tasks specific to each patient from the beginning to conclusion of directed patient care: supervisory visits, re-certification visits, discharge visits, transfers, and post-hospital visits and ensures accuracy Updates clinician schedules frequently to remain in compliance with current physician orders Communicates all new physician orders and new referrals with contract therapy staff Responsible for checking email, HALO’s, team messaging system and voicemail to respond to time-sensitive messages from customers, leadership, lower-level management Prepares clinicians schedules and assign clinicians to patients based on the frequency and expected duration of prescribed treatments and therapies per physician order Demonstrates exceptional customer service to all patients, clinicians, and family members Participates with on-call rotation for home health approximately one week per month to include shared holiday coverage Perform general clerical duties in support of patient services. Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 1+ years of experience performing administrative duties in a medical setting 1+ years of experience in a position that requires multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment 1+ years of scheduling experience Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products Ability to work between the hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday-Friday Ability to work on call 24/7, one week per month and 1-2 holidays per year (additional on call hours may be assigned per business need, including weekends)Preferred Qualifications:
