Patient Care Coordinator
Description We are seeking a Front Desk/Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in the high tech industry of Pharm/Biotech, located in Barrington, New Hampshire. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for managing patient care coordination and administrative tasks. The role involves face to face and over the phone interaction with patients, data management, and maintaining office operations in an efficient manner. Responsibilities: • Drive patient care by making outbound calls and follow-ups with potential and existing patients to schedule appointments. • Greet patients and provide information about current marketing promotions to optimize clinic revenue generation. • Generate revenue by driving patient appointment scheduling and clinic services. • Conduct data entry tasks and schedule appointments using the company's internal scheduling database software. • Manage the office supply inventory in accordance to company approved lists to keep the office patient ready. • Handle petty cash, bank deposits, and credit transactions to maintain accurate account records. • Maintain an inventory available at the clinic. • Work directly with patients to collect all necessary insurance documentation, ensuring compliance with current HIPAA laws. • Handle inbound and outbound calls with a focus on patient scheduling and billing functions. • Perform administrative office tasks to support the smooth running of the clinic. Requirements • Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills. • Ability to schedule patient appointments efficiently and effectively • Strong data entry skills, with a high attention to detail and accuracy • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle patient concerns with empathy and professionalism • Previous experience in an administrative office role • Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations • Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively • Proficient in using computer systems. • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service.
