Patient Care Coordinator
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in Plymouth, New Hampshire, within the High Tech - Pharm/Biotech industry. The selected candidate will work closely with patients and contribute to clinic revenue generation, data management, and office administration. Responsibilities: • Making outbound and follow-up calls to both potential and existing patients, aiding in appointment scheduling and revenue generation. • Greeting patients upon arrival and working towards obtaining potential referrals. • Understanding and applying knowledge of current marketing promotions. • Accurately entering data and scheduling appointments using the company's internal scheduling database software. • Managing office supply inventory according to company-approved lists. • Conducting accurate account management including petty cash, bank deposits and credit transactions. • Maintaining an inventory of hearing aids. • Working directly with patients to collect all necessary insurance documentation in adherence with current HIPAA laws. • Leveraging skills in answering inbound calls, electronic medical records, patient medical records, medical benefits, medical front office, and medical office. Requirements • Proficiency in handling and answering inbound calls in a professional manner • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems and their usage • Experience with patient medical record management and confidentiality protocols • Understanding of medical benefits, including insurance and patient assistance programs • Previous experience working in a medical front office, handling administrative tasks • Knowledge and practical experience in managing a medical office, including scheduling, patient communication, and record-keeping.
