Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator
Job Overview
We are looking for a Medical Scheduler to handle a high volume of incoming calls and appointments, providing excellent customer service with a focus on one-call resolution.
Remote work may be an option after 6 months based on performance
Key Responsibilities
Manage incoming calls and requests efficiently.Schedule various appointments for over 100 multi-specialty physicians.Use available resources to assist callers effectively.Transfer calls to appropriate departments when necessary.Collect and relay essential information to clinical staff.Respond to emergencies as per established procedures.Daily use of NextGen medical software and Microsoft Outlook.Essential Skills
Experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Familiarity with appointment scheduling and multi-line phones.Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.At least 2 years of healthcare experience.Work Environment
This position is based in Poughkeepsie, working Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with one Saturday shift approximately every 4-6 weeks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00
