Overview Acierno Family Dental is very involved in the community and we've been in the area for over 50 years. We're a comfortable and modern dental clinic offering comprehensive dental care in Chicago and the surrounding areas. We specialize in diagnosing and treatment of dental health needs. Dental services range from preventative to restorative. We are currently hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to join our family. As a Dental Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients from the moment they contact our office. You will be responsible for managing patient schedules, handling inquiries, processing insurance information, and assisting with the front desk duties. You will work closely with the dental team to ensure that patient needs are met promptly and professionally. Schedule (days/hours) M- 12:30p-6:30p, T- 6:30a-3p, W- 8:30a-5:30p, Th- 10:30a-7:30p, F- 6:30a-1:30p Responsibilities Greet and check in patients with a friendly, welcoming demeanor Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding treatment, insurance, or billing Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance verification Collect and update patient information, including health history and personal data Process patient payments and manage billing Assist patients in understanding treatment plans and financial options Coordinate patient referrals and follow-ups Assist with preparing patient charts and treatment records for dental procedures Maintain a clean and organized front office and patient reception area Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations Qualifications At least one year related experience Knowledge of dental terminology Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting Compensation $20 - $23 an hour About Us Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
