Patient Care Coordinator
Description We are in search of a Patient Care Coordinator to become a part of our healthcare team. The role is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States, in the healthcare and social assistance sector. The job function involves managing patient care within a hospital setting. This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Acts as the primary liaison for patients, providing exceptional service and patient care. • Handles the scheduling of patient appointments, confirming future appointments, and managing rescheduling needs. • Ensures the precise entry of dental procedures in patient records. • Manages patient billing and payment processes; assists with insurance claims. • Gives instructions to patients for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures. • Communicates with patients about outstanding balances and insurance coverage details. • Assists dentist and dental staff by providing needed support. • Offers continuous support to patients with explanations of treatment proposals. • Ensures the facility's compliance with state/local regulations. • Utilizes skills in Allscripts, CRM, Dentrix Dental Software, Answering Inbound Calls, Authorizations, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, and Charts - Graphs. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance setting • Proficiency in using Allscripts software for patient management • Experience with CRM software to manage patient relationships and interactions • Knowledge of Dentrix Dental Software for dental practice management • Ability to handle answering inbound calls efficiently and professionally • Experience with authorizations in a healthcare setting • Familiarity with benefit functions, including insurance and employee benefits • Experience with billing functions in a healthcare environment • Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs for patient data analysis TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
