Must be able to move about in a complex physical environment.
This position will require frequent use of a computer performing data entry and communicating via email, communicating verbally and in writing with staff; some exposure to: bloodborne pathogens, combative people, repetitive motion, and risk of injury from moving and lifting patients, equipment, or materials. Shift UK Hospital Command Center operates on a 24 hour, 7 days/week basis. Shift will vary and include days, nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays per departmental needs. Job Summary The Patient Care Manager (PCM) in the Command Center assumes 24 hour accountability for planning, supervising and evaluating the care of patients and Nursing practice, as well as workforce initiatives. The primary responsibilities are to direct the business, technical and nursing support activities of Kronos. This individual is responsible for the successful management of the Command Center.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Microsoft Office as well as familiarity with KRONOS and data aggregation software. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
