Patient Care Provider - Full Time - Nights
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** 12 Hour Night Shift **Description:** JOB SUMMARY Provides direct patient care and performs specified procedures under the direct supervision of the RN or LPN. **JOB DUTIES** 1. Actively demonstrates the organization’s mission and core values, and conducts oneself at all times in a manner consistent with these values. 2. Knows and adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety and medical information. 3. Provides direct patient care according to age specific guidelines and established policies and procedures 4. Communicates patient related data and requests to appropriate team members. 5. Assists in meeting the patient’s nutritional needs. 6. Assists with ambulation to including walkers, canes, prostheses, etc. 7. Maintains a safe environment by adhering to Hospital policies and procedures for isolation techniques, use of restraints, and falls prevention. Reports any unsafe condition to the appropriate personnel. 8. Documents and reports care delivered per policy. 9. Performs other related duties as assigned or as workload or staffing variations require. **JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES** Education: The level of knowledge ordinarily acquired through the completion of high school level courses.
