Patient Care Tech/Monitor Tech - Full Time

Job Summary:  PCT/Monitor Tech assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within patient care.  The PCT/Monitor Technician provides the nurses and physicians with precise analysis of cardiac rhythms through oral communication and written documentation. The PCT/Monitor Technician detects abnormal pattern variances and notifies the charge and primary nurse immediately.   

Qualification:

High School diploma or its equivalent1 year experience as a patient care tech and/or monitor technician is preferredKnowledge of medical terminology (cardiac) req; Previous telemetry/cardiac monitoring experience preferredBasic EKG course within 90 days of hireBLS required
