Position Summary

The Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: 

High School Diploma or GEDEnrolled in State approved Certified Nurse Assistant Program
 

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, and/or REGISTRATIONS: 

Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire

     •    CPI due within 30 days of hire/transfer

Obtain Florida Certified Nurse Assistant within 4 months of hire
