Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. Responsibilities Work in partnership with the registered nurse to support patient care. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to complete delegated tasks for patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Monitor patients, obtain vital signs and report patients' condition at regular intervals and promptly report any signs or symptoms of concern. Respond promptly to all call lights and provide patient transport. Assist patients with mobility and basic tasks, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs. Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy and collect specimens for labs. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and staff. Perform direct and indirect patient care duties as assigned and may provide clerical support to assigned unit. Qualifications Job Requirements High School diploma or GED Basic Life Support certification Preferred Job Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy Completion of approved CNA, PCT or paramedic certification
