Patient Care Technician/BHT
Job Description: Will be responsible for redirecting negative behaviors, vitals, charting, walking patients to other areas as needed, etc. You will not find 2 days that will be a like which is great, must be a team player and help where needed. May be taking patients to and from groups or listening to a patient air a grievance, ect. There are 2 sides to every facility: Inpatient: this is lock down units, they consist of 4-5 patients and will have several PCT’s, Peer support specialists, an RN or 2, as well as an LPN. There is no shortage of hands-on deck. Crisis: this side of the facility is more of an observation unit with 50 recliners where patients that are just coming in or are in crisis and cannot be on the unit are housed. There are MANY MANY hands-on deck here, several of every role listed in inpatient. All job titles wear different color scrubs, so they are easily identified. This area tends to be very active. Requirements: • BLS • Block Scheduling, must be comfortable with 3 12s, which are 7a-7p or 7p-7a • GED or higher Pay and Benefits: + Pay is between $16-20 per hour. + 20 per hour would be reserved for those that have many years of experience. + Shift differential.   + Weeknight Shift Differential (Mon-Thurs): 10%  + Weekend Day Shift Differential (Sat, Sun): $1.00 more per hour  + Weekend Night Shift Differential (Fri, Sat, Sun): $2.00 more per hour  • There is a $500 sign on bonus that is paid out upon 90 days the rest at 1 year. • Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life (25% paid by employer)   • 401K with employer match - 100% vested upon enrollment.   • 5-Weeks PTO   • Supplemental plans - Hospital indemnity/ Critical Illness   • Pet Insurance   • Dependent Care Savings, Health Care Savings,   • Wellness programs   • After 1 year there is a PTO cash out option   • Employees will qualify for ‘Public Loan Service forgiveness’ plan as they are a non-profit    • EAP • Tuition Reimbursement AND assistance    • Once candidate catches on, they are typically promoted very quickly.    • Company has grown over 150% in the last few years and is needing more leaders GROWTH POTENTIAL!   • Scholarship Programs, incentives, and more!
