Responsible for assisting doctors/nursing staff in ensuring that the basic needs of each patient are met. Daily tasks might include things like feeding and cleaning the patient or monitoring vital signs and health. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing 2. Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights 3. Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities 4. Performs post mortem care 5. Performs EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring 6. Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RN 7. Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory 8. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Education: + High School Diploma or GED required Minimum Experience: + Prior health-care experience with patient care experience strongly preferred Licenses/Certifications: + BLS preferred Qualifications: + Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the Care Center.
