Adecco Healthcare is searching for a **Patient Care Technician (PCT)** to become part of our client's team in **Mesa, AZ** - 85210. This is a direct-hire and permanent opportunity. **Pay** $16-20 (depending on experience) + shift differential **Sign-On Bonus** $500 _Shift Differentials:_ - Weeknight Shift Differential (Mon-Thurs): 10% - Weekend Day Shift Differential (Sat, Sun): $1.00 more per hour - Weekend Night Shift Differential (Fri, Sat, Sun): $2.00 more per hour **Shift** - Must be open and flexible - Mostly nights and weekends, some days - Several shifts available on different days - Block scheduling: 3x12s - 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am **Job Summary** As the PCT, you will be a part of a multidisciplinary team that works together providing care to patients in a Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Facility. The PCT is under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The PCT is tasked with ensuring unit safety, which involves identifying both environmental and patient-specific safety concerns and escalating them to the RN, RN Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, or designated individual when necessary. **Qualifications** _Required - 1 of these, the most applicable to the candidate:_ _-_ **No Behavioral Health Degree:** have at least 4 years experience working in a **Behavioral Health** setting with patients with **substance abuse** or who are **mentally ill** in one of these roles or similar: Patient Care Technician (PCT), Behavioral Health Tech (BHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), etc. - **Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health or Similar:** 1 year of experience working with substance abuse/mentally ill patients. - **Associate's Degree in Behavioral Health or Similar:** 2 years of experience working with substance abuse/mentally ill patients. - **LPN:** 2 years of experience working with substance abuse/mentally ill patients. _Additional Requirements:_ - Clean background. - Comfortable using restraints. - Be flexible with the night shift and overall shift availability. - Passion for helping people with substance abuse and mental health populations. - BLS (can be obtained while onboarding). _Preferred:_ - Experience with Title 36 (Court-Ordered Mental Health Proceedings) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) holds. - Experience with restraints. - Nursing experience (i.e. LPN). **Key Application Requirements** _- Demonstrated professional stability:_ Preference for candidates with 2+ years in recent roles. _- Thorough application:_ Detailed resume with complete work history, including specific dates and responsibilities for each role. _- Serious applicants only:_ Applications missing key details or demonstrating frequent, unexplained job changes may not be considered. **Resume Submission Guidelines** _- Updated & Comprehensive Resume:_ Include for each position job title, company name, start/end dates (month/year), and key responsibilities. _- Explain Changes:_ Explain any gaps in employment or frequent job changes. _- Detailed Resumes Required:_ Incomplete resumes or those lacking crucial details may be automatically disqualified. **Benefits** - Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life. - PTO: 5 weeks (after 1 year, PTO cash out option) - Supplemental plans - Hospital indemnity/ Critical Illness. - 401K with employer match - 100% vested upon enrollment. - Pet Insurance. - Dependent Care Savings, Health Care Savings. - Wellness programs. - Able to qualify for ‘Public Loan Service forgiveness’, company is non-profit. - Scholarship programs. - Tuition Reimbursement and Assistance. - OT available (optional). **Company Culture** - All-inclusive work environment. - Fast-growing company that promotes from within.
