Summary of Job Duties:The Clinic Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a vital healthcare team member, providing essential support and performing tasks under the supervision of Registered Nurses and performing tasks and duties that do not require a license, professional judgment, or intervention. The PCT directly assists the nurse, PA, physician, and Ortho team with clinic procedures and tasks, surgery scheduling, and associated administrative and clinic duties. The PCT plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of patient care by providing assistance in various clinical settings. The PCT must possess the required competencies and adhere to UAMS clinical programs, policies, procedures, and standards, as well as guest care guidelines.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDSuccessful completion of patient care technician course within three(3) months of hire
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
