What you will do as a Patient Care Tech: Patient Care Techs assist clinical staff in clinics and physician offices by disinfecting and cleaning examination and procedural rooms and equipment. They prepare patients for visits by collecting and updating medical histories, taking and recording vital signs and recording in patient charts. Patient Care Techs also assist with administrative tasks of welcoming, scheduling and documenting pertinent patient information in the electronic medical record systems. Great schedules! Most clinics operate Monday thru Friday during Day Shift hours. No weekends or holidays.
