Regardless of role, we recognize that every member of our team is vital! The Patient Concierge ensures that patients, their families and guests have an unparalleled excellent experience! This role will serve as the face of the Clinic and Surgery Center (CSC)and as a fount of information, and we proactively set the stage for the patient experience. The person in this position will provide and/or coordinate guest reception, and review and verify pre-appointment registration information. They will also function as the primary resource person(s) in identifying and resolving patient needs within the (CSC)!
Patient Concierge Overview
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Works collaboratively with staff members across clinic(s), departments, and the University CampusEnsures all patient issues are resolved effectively and efficiently, leading to an outstanding patient experienceHas full responsibility for all patient check-in, interpreter needs, visit wait coordination and monitoring, tablet questionnaire assistance, education for patients on all building technology, co-pay collection, and patient privacy protection during check-inCommunicates optimally with all members of the care team and patient financial services staff, as well as hospital departments to coordinate or facilitate the patient receiving services across settings, including arranging transportation as vitalMinimum Qualifications:
Some post-secondary education or multi-culturally competentKnowledgeable about the company, M Health, campus, local businesses, local venues and special eventsProven successful office/reception, retail service, and concierge or customer service experienceGood medical terminology and experience with complex medical schedulingAbility to learn new systems and workflow processesExcellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multi-task on an ongoing basis, good organization and prioritization skills, and accurate recordkeeping skillsDemonstrates interpersonal values of compassion, respect, teamwork and diversityFlexibility to rotate through various areas of facility as neededPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of public relationsBLS and/or CPR certificationExperience with current M Physicians scheduling systems and EPICSurgery scheduling or clinic supervision skillsMultilingual with excellent communication skillsExcellent team member qualities, and knowledge of the clinics, surgery center, diagnostic and treatment areas, and discovery experienceLocation: 909 Fulton St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday
