We have also received certification by The Joint Commission in collaboration with the American Stroke Association as a Primary Stroke Center. **The role** **you’ll** **contribute:** Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections. Collects and processes diet order information from patients into the computerized system for processing and preparation of menus and special requests. Performs tray assembly, tray delivery and tray pick ups in-between meal food delivery. **The value** **you’ll** **bring to the team:** · Collects and processes diet order information from patients in to the computerized system. · Takes patients menu selections prior to each meal. · Complies with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations. · Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences, when patient inquires or needs additional selections.
