Develops programs designed to enrich skills or meet identified goals and educational needs in all hospital departments. Collaborates with department managers regarding development and evaluation of staff competency assessments; and serves as a resource for department based preceptors/mentors. Manages and administers the successful implementation of assigned projects as defined by Sutter Health needs. Assists in the development and implementation of computer based clinical educational programs and required documentation. Plays a key role in process improvement and LEAN projects by performing operational assessments and analyses. Participates in the preparation of manuals, guides, policies and other materials contributing to improving clinical performance, updating staff instruction, and the maintenance of patient care standards. Serves as a clinical consultant to patient care staff, physicians and other ancillary staff as appropriate. Instructs in programs within areas of expertise.Job Description:

Other: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
RN-Registered Nurse of California
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
OR ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years of recent relevant experience.

Pay Range is $87.08 to $114.94 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
