Patient Experience Liaison

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Patient Experience Liaison at Overlook Medical Center to perform the function of Greeter to the many guests of the hospital’s Medical Arts Center (MAC). Required hours are: Monday thru Friday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM, No Weekends.

Essential Functions

This position will offer a welcoming smile and an accommodating nature to all.  Patient Liaison serves as greeter in the Medical Arts Center (MAC) of Overlook Medical Center. Greets patients and visitors upon arrival and offers direction and assistance as needed. Committed to create an optimal patient/visitor experience; pleasant, warm and engaging demeanor. Acts as the ambassador of Overlook for when visitors from Atlantic Health System’s corporate office arrive. Identifies regulatory personnel upon approach and coordinates their visits with appropriate departments. Assists with the screening of patients and visitors as needed. Ensures that safety requirements of those entering the building is adhered to. Works collaboratively with fellow team members and physicians from all hospital departments. Possess excellent memory and face to name recognition.

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred. To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to independently problem-solve to provide solutions or resources. Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional behaviors. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time.

Relevant Experience:

1-3 years' experience in customer service is strongly preferred. Experience and interest in health-care field is preferred. Bilingual a plus (preferred).
