Patient Financial Counselor

Identifies and coordinates all aspects of financial obligations for private pay patients.  Including, but not limited to, patient relations, physician liaison regarding financial liabilities, deposit estimates and collection.  Assures that customer needs and/or complaints related to financial services are responded to and documented in a timely and professional manner and in a way that supports organizational goals, system improvements and recovery strategies throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications: 

Associate's Degree or additional experience may be substituted for no degree. 3 years of experience in patient financial services or medical billing in a hospital business office or five years of experience without degree.
