+ GENERAL SUMMARY + The Patient Information Security is responsible for greeting all persons entering the hospital. Demonstrates positive guest relations and creates a welcoming environment to hospital visitors. Reports to department leadership. + ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Provides information, appropriate passes and directions to guest. + Responds to telephone inquiries related to patient information in a timely manner. + Utilizes information systems in maintaining patient access and facility control. + Performs other duties as assigned. + LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS + None required. + MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS + High school graduate or equivalent. + Must possess basic computer skills. + Excellent telephone etiquette and customer skills. + Previous experience with automated visitor tracking software preferred. + CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire. + WORKING CONDITIONS + Work is performed inside and outside the hospital in all weather. + PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Click here to view physical requirements.
