Patient Liasion *San Anotonio, TX* Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Patient Liasion to join our San Antonio, TX team! This role involves updating electronic medical records (EMR), handling a high volume of calls, scheduling appointments, setting up diagnostic testing, managing referrals, and both inbound and outbound calls. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in medical office support and excellent phone skills. Responsibilities + Update electronic medical records (EMR). + Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. + Schedule patient appointments. + Set up diagnostic testing. + Manage patient referrals. + Provide patient care and education as needed. Essential Skills + Experience with electronic health records. + Appointment scheduling skills. + Patient care and patient education abilities. + Experience as a Medical Assistant. + Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls. + Referral management experience. + Prescription management skills. + Bilingual abilities. + Computer skills. + Experience in ophthalmology. Additional Skills & Qualifications + At least 1 year of medical office/support experience. + Experience with FMLA documentation, prescription refills, and referrals Work Environment This position operates in a call center environment and is not patient-facing. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. We are looking for candidates with a passion for patient care, bubbly personality, and driven phone skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
