Patient Nutrition Assistant – Part-Time (Ongoing Posting)

Work Schedule:

This opening reflects multiple AM and PM opportunities that will be working 12-24 hours per week and will have weekend rotations. AM shifts will be scheduled between 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM and PM shifts will be scheduled between 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM. 12-hour weekend shifts and flexibility in scheduling also available. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Patient Nutrition Assistant who:

Prioritizes patient care above all other duties. Accurately assembles and delivers patient meal trays. Maintains kitchen order by ensuring cleanliness of work areas. Sanitizes dishes, cookware, equipment, and environment. Is comfortable working in a fast-paced and continually changing environment.

Patient Nutrition Assistants are eligible for:

A free bus pass to assist with transportation to and from work. Continuing education for both professional and personal growth. External hires may be eligible for up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

Education:

Preferred - High school diploma or GED

Work Experience:

Preferred - Food service and/or customer service experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Preferred - ServSafe Certification
