Job Description

The Patient Experience & Recruitment (PER) Partner is responsible for developing and executing study-specific Recruitment Plans to engage, recruit, and retain participants for assigned clinical studies. The PER Partner engages with the community, establishes and nurtures relationships with clinicians, creates and manages participant referral patterns, expands site therapeutic and specialty capabilities, reviews patient health records, and ensures patient engagement for clinical trials. This role supports efficient screening and scheduling through central teams and technologies and may occasionally screen and schedule study participants. The PER Partner communicates directly with project team stakeholders and leaders to ensure project targets are met and services are provided with the highest quality standards, in compliance with company policies, HIPAA, and ethical standards. This role plays a critical part in promoting clinical research inclusively to the diverse healthcare community.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategies to engage with the local community to raise awareness about clinical trials.Collaborate with the Patient Experience team to plan and facilitate community outreach events.Work with community organizations, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups to promote clinical trial participation across diverse populations.Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and educational sessions to educate potential participants about clinical trials.Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists.Communicate with clinicians about ongoing clinical trials and eligibility criteria.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to receive patient referrals for clinical trials.Review health records to identify potential candidates for clinical trials, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.Facilitate enrollment and retention of participants in clinical trials, coordinating follow-up visits and procedures.Conduct initial phone screenings of potential participants and coordinate their appointments.Implement centrally planned strategies and campaigns directed by operational leadership.Promote and utilize company-developed technologies and partnered services to increase efficiency and participant engagement.Track all activity across initiatives to measure return on investment and prioritize efforts.Collaborate cross-functionally to share best practices and lessons learned.Ensure accurate and timely capture of new participant information and updates to the participant database.Essential SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse populations and healthcare professionals.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, confidential records.Proficiency in relevant software applications and electronic medical record systems.Willingness to learn and develop problem-solving skills.Experience in directing work in a matrix environment.Bilingual proficiency is highly preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in clinical research, recruitment, or healthcare administration; or advanced healthcare degree or certification.Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical conditions.Work Environment

This role is onsite and involves working in a facility equipped with private examination and consultation rooms, comfortable patient reception areas, facilities for extended-stay pharmacokinetic studies, and secure monitoring rooms or workstations with phone and high-speed internet access. The environment includes multiple secure workstations for research staff, a regulatory document processing area, electronic data capture capabilities, and secure record storage. The facility features a CLIA-certified research laboratory or clinical laboratory with a CLIA waiver, ambient and refrigerated centrifuge, secured and temperature-controlled investigational product storage, freezers for laboratory specimens at -20 and -70 degrees Celsius, a backup generator, and standard medical equipment including ECG machines and digital and analog scales.

The pay range for this position is $52500.00 - $52500.00
